Committee Service:

Every board member serves on a committee.  Please read the descriptions below (or review video #4 above) and rank the committees where you would most like to serve.  Service is based on space availability and priority is given to senior board members. Training is available for all positions.  Prior experience is not a prerequisite.

Nominating Comm.: Review open board positions and upcoming board positions and seeks qualified individuals to fill those roles as it relates to the needs of the board. Participants in this committee are on a path to the Vice Chair and thus the Board Chair Position.

Finance Comm.: This committee reviews the finances and anticipates financial needs and setbacks.  They forecast growth trends for the agency and needs for the upcoming campaign. Participants in this committee are on a path the Treasurer.

Community Investment Comm.: This committee reviews the funds raised each campaign, gets to know the applying agencies and their needs, and decides which agencies will receive funding and how much funding that year. This committee serves for one year.

Campaign Comm.: This committee helps to solicit donors and arrange meetings between the executive director and business leaders to discuss donations for the campaign.  This committee serves for one year.

Secretary:  This is not a committee, however, the secretary records the minutes from each board meeting and the executive board meeting. As such, this person is a member of the executive board.
