365 Small Business Circle – Benefits & Rewards

What is the United Way 365 Small Business Circle?

It’s an exclusive group of local small business owners who are committed to investing in ongoing, impactful, and meaningful work in Davie County through United Way. While UWDC has been bringing businesses, individuals, and organizations together for the last 47 years, this new initiative is to make philanthropy easier and more rewarding for small businesses.

As a business owner, you already know the value of a strong and healthy community. So much
depends on it. It determines the status of our local economy and our individual livelihoods. It defines our lifestyles, our welfare, and ultimately our futures. It affects the ability of your customers to afford your services and products. The stronger you can help your community become, the more revenue you will see.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

For only a dollar a day or $365 a year, your
business becomes a member of the 365 Small
Business Circle. The United Way of Davie County
has created an easy, affordable, and effective way
for companies with fewer than 20 employees to give
back.

WAYS TO INVEST

There are several easy ways to join this collective investment in our community.

  • Simply write a check, charge or be billed—all at once, monthly, quarterly…whichever is best for you.
  • Host an in-store promotion where proceeds from a featured item or service go towards your pledge.
  • Engage your staff in joining you in a business wide investment. For example, staff could donate to United Way to wear jeans or hats to work. This is an affordable option.
